First PSO Meeting of the Year - There Will Be Door Prizes

Please join us at 7 pm for our first PSO meeting of the year! This will be virtual (zoom link to come) and we have quite a bit to discuss. New this year - door prizes! We will pull a participant every meeting to win a $20 gift card to Amazon, Target, Starbucks, or Total Wine!

All Read

I hope you are all ITCHING to sign up for All Read! All Read will be at 3:20 PM on the 4th Monday of every month, so our first All Read is just two weeks away! There will be no All Read in December.

All Read will be over Zoom again this year. It is currently one of the best opportunities you have to "get in" to your young person's classroom in the absence of in-person volunteer opportunities. Readers can be parents, grandparents, caregivers, aunts, uncles....any adult in your young person's life. The kids love it - yes, even the big kids. (Even though my 5th grader has given me much grief for the time I "embarrassed" her last year when I had some Zoom trouble. LOL. Pretty sure she secretly loved it.)

Readers have 20 minutes to share a few favorite books with their young person's class.

The signup is organized alphabetically by teacher. Any questions, please reach out to Leann Scheuring. Please share this signup on individual class pages, too.

Good Afternoon Highcroft!

Please join us Thursday the 23rd for our first PSO meeting of the year. We are excited to welcome our new and returning PSO Board. We will be hearing about our committees for this year, a principals report, and a budget update.

The new date for Curriculum Q & A is Thursday, September 30th. The first session will be held at 6:00 pm and the second at 6:30 pm.

Thank you to all who have sent back your Emergency Dismissal Form.

Please let us know if you need a new copy and we will send one home.

Picture Day is Wednesday the 22nd. We are excited to see all those beautiful smiles.

We will have our annual Fall/Halloween party and parade on Friday the 29th of October.

Please consider supporting HCR's capital project by eating out at Texas Roadhouse on Sept 28th. 10% of all proceeds go to HCR PSO.
