Spring Creek Elementary Update (1/6/21)
Distribution Tuesday 1/12, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Our January supply distribution is next week on Tuesday, January 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Similar to our last distribution day, we will store the items in the library and will distribute from the breezeway in front of the main office.
This is currently our only planned distribution in January so please be sure to come and collect your child's items, especially if you plan on attending our RAD Night Family Event on 1/14 (see the post below). As always, if you can't make it on Tuesday, simply email me and we'll schedule a follow up time for your pickup.
Upcoming Spring Creek Family Zoom Event-Thursday, 1/14 @ 5:45 p.m.
Next week on Thursday, 1/14 at 5:45 p.m., Spring Creek will host an online family engagement event via zoom called RAD (Reading, Art, and Dessert) Night.
RAD night will include tips and tricks for online learning, a reading of Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos by Monica Brown and John Parro, an art project led by Spring Creek teachers, and a treat in the form of store bought pre-packaged cookies. (Please contact your teacher if your child has dietary restrictions and you'd like an alternate snack). We will also hold a raffle for fun prizes the following the day. Each family who attends RAD night will receive one entry into the raffle.
The art materials that your child will need for RAD night will be sent out at our distribution day on Tuesday, 1/12. We will also send each student a book for them to enjoy.
More information will be communicated by classroom teachers. We hope to see you there!
Free Helmets for students and siblings who do not have one.
4J Safe Routes to School and Safe Kids West are offering free helmets to children who do not have one. Please fill out the linked survey for each child who needs a helmet (do not fill out a survey if you don't need a helmet). Helmets will be distributed with the next school supply giveaway on January 12th.
