Early Release will take place March 14-18 in order for teachers to conduct Parent Teacher Conferences.

Grade 1-5: Monday-Friday dismissal at 1:30 p.m.

Grade TK/K: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Friday at 1:10 p.m. and Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.

Reminder: Drop Off Procedures

  • Adult supervision will not be provided before 8:15 a.m.
  • Parents may wait with their children by the TK/K Entrance Gate, Front Gate, or Solar Panel Gate until the gates open at 8:20 a.m.
  • For families choosing to use the valet line, students will remain in their car until staff signals students to exit (approximately 8:18 a.m.). All cars must exit to the left out of the parking lot to maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
  • Families may choose to park on surrounding streets or in the church parking lot on Enos to walk their children on campus.
  • New: For parents choosing to park on Portola in front of the kindergarten playground, please be advised you may not make a u-turn across the median to head towards North Livermore Ave. For additional traffic law clarification use this link or email Officer Starr from LPD at

Yearbook Special Showcase

The Yearbook Committee is including a section that features our Labradors and what they are passionate about outside of school. For examples: sports, music, arts, community service, etc. If you are interested in having your child's special interest included in the yearbook, please send pictures to Make sure to include a small narrative from your child about what they are passionate about and why.

Less Than One Month to Order a Yearbook

Friendly reminder to our Labrador families…early bird pricing for the yearbook ends this Friday, March 4th. $20 soft cover with an option to upgrade to a hard cover for an additional $5. Prices will go up after March 4th. Last day to order yearbooks will be Friday, April 1st.

The Science Odyssey Showcase

The Science Odyssey showcase is now open to the public. To view projects, go to No log in is needed. Under the "fair" tab, go to "showcase". To protect student privacy, student names are hidden. You will find your project by searching for your project ID number. You may search for projects by project category also. Logo entries were uploaded to zFairs. Students, look for an email from zFairs that has your project ID number. Student initials are used on the projects. You may check awards by clicking on the ribbon. At this time, if a project, including logo entries, was uploaded as a PDF, you must click through the link to see the project. This is different from what the site looked like last year. zFairs is working to make the projects show. Thank you for participating in Science Odyssey 2022!

4th Annual Tri-Valley Innovation Fair

4th Annual Tri-Valley Innovation Fair: Quest Science Center is holding its Innovation Fair on Saturday, March 19th from 10am-5pm at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Admission is FREE and there will be more than 50 exhibitors with engaging activities for kids of all ages. Informational flyer

Upcoming Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Trainings

Upcoming Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Trainings:
    • Saturday, March 19th, 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 pm

    • Wednesday, March 30th, 2:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

YMHFA is a Certification Course that teaches adults to recognize and respond to a mental health challenge in youth. Completion of a 2-hour online class prior to the Zoom class and a half-hour of post-work is required.


All participants are eligible to earn 1 Continuing Education Unit for completing YMHFA.

Staff may earn the optional CEU for attending during non-work hours. There is a $50 out-of-pocket fee for the optional CEU.

Missoula Play-The Snow Queen

We are very excited to have the Missoula Children's Theatre at Lawrence next week! If your Kinder-5th Grader Labrador has signed up for the auditions on 3/14, please note that due to conferences and minimum day scheduling, auditions will begin promptly at 1:45 PM and they can go straight to the MPR after school.

Join us on Saturday, March 19th at 3:00 PM in the Lawrence MPR for the live performance. Ticket information will be coming soon.

Running Club

The Lawrence Elementary Running Club is back! All Labradors are invited to join Running Club between 8-8:20 AM every Friday morning at the Solar Panel Entrance. For your student to participate, please fill out this form by the Wednesday prior here. This participation form only needs filling out once for the remainder of the school year.
