PHMS Announcements: Dec.9-15, 2018
1. Congratulations to the PHMS Boys Basketball team for their wins last week against Irmo Middle and Lexington Middle. The Cougars defeated the Yellow Jackets in overtime by a score of 42-38. They defeated the Wildcats 40-36. Way to go Cougars!
2. The PHMS Basketball teams will play at home against Chapin Middle on Monday and Meadow Glen Middle on Thursday. The girls’ games will start at 5:30 p.m.and the boys’ will start at 6:45 p.m. Admission is $5. Students get in for $1 with their student ID.
3. The PHMS Band Winter Concert is Monday night at 6:45 p.m at the LOPAC at Lexington High School. Admission is free.
4. The PTSA will be selling Pelican’s SnoBalls for $3.00 during lunch on Thursday and Friday.
5. The PHMS Orchestra Winter Concert is Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the LOPAC at Lexington High School. Admission is free.
6. Ms. McCartha's class will be collecting new gloves, hats, mittens and scarves for the Share the Glove fund drive. Please consider donating these items that will be distributed to Toby's Place. The deadline is Friday, December 14. See the attachment for more information.
7. PHMS is partnering with Toys for Tots to bring joy to those less fortunate during the holiday season. If you would like to donate any new unwrapped toys, please bring them to school on or before December 14. We will have collection boxes in the counseling and main offices for the toys. If you are looking for assistance during this holiday season, please reach out to the Salvation Army (803-765-0260) or Mission Lexington (803-957-6656).
