Board of Education Holds First Workshop
The Board of Education held its first workshop meeting this week. These workshop meetings are intended for the Board to hear from each Department Director in the District. This also allows our community to learn more about the operation of the District.
Check out the February Board Workshop video recording, which included a presentation about the GJPS Literacy Program.

GLHS Program of Studies
Did You Know?
Lincoln High School has its Program of Studies posted online for anyone in our District to check out. It provides a look at all of the courses offered at the high school to assist in setting and reaching educational and occupational goals.
Our 2023-24 high school students just wrapped up their scheduling requests, but it is never too early for families of all ages to explore course opportunities available to our students.
Blacklick Elementary
Kindergarten Super Readers
The Blacklick Elementary kindergartners have worked hard during their "Super Readers" reading unit to learn super reading powers to help them become MIGHTY READERS! Some of their new powers include Slider Power, Snap Word Power, Fix-It Power, and Word-Part Power.
The celebration was a culmination event to "show-off" their reading powers to friends they don't normally get to read with.
We are incredibly proud of our kindergartners for working hard each day, using these new powers, and never giving up!
Lincoln High School
Opportunities to Get Involved
GLHS Student Council hosted "Den Day" during all lunch periods on Wednesday! This "activity fair" gave students the opportunity to visit information tables for many of the clubs, organizations and activities available to our GLHS students.
