6th Grade DLP Family Night
Hillsboro School District
HSD Dual Language Mission
Guiding students to achieve academic excellence through the power of bilingualism and cultural competency for success in a diverse global society.
The meeting will take place at South Meadows Middle School - 4690 Southeast Davis Road Hills, OR
Date: Tuesday, November 27th, 2018
Time: 6:30-8:pm
This event is an opportunity for all 6th grade dual language families to learn more about options for the dual language program in middle and high school.
Students and families will have the opportunity to hear directly from students, district level staff, principals and teachers about key elements of the dual language program in our district. Specifically, families will learn about the different options offered at South Meadows, Poynter R. A. Brown and Evergreen middle schools. This is a great opportunity to understand the dual language program journey that we’ve been through and where we are heading in our secondary schools. They will also hear student testimonies who have been in the program and will have time to answer your questions from our Assistant Superintendent, Dayle Spitzer, and Coordinator of Dual programs, Arcema Tovar.
Coffee and child care will be provided. Hope to see you then!
