Dingos are an Australian nature mammal.

Their scientific name is canis lupus.


A dingo looks like a dog with cream golden fur .It has white markings on its chest. The ears are pricked and its tail is bushy. Dingos habitat is usually in the outback of Australia and they are also found on Fraser Island. The dingos eat lots of meat and reptiles and also eat from the rubbish bin.


Puppies are weened after two months. They give birth to up to eight puppies. Dingos have no predators but they do have dangers such as traps, poison, loss of habitat and shooters.


Dingos will survive if people stop shooting them and making traps for them
