This Week
This week we are beginning a month long unit on insects! On Monday, we had a praying mantis pod arrive! We will be watching the pod over the next several weeks while we wait for the praying mantis to hatch from its foamy shell. We will be reading books and writing about insects. In math we will be practicing addition, subtraction and story problems.
Thank you, to everyone that has turned in the permission slip to the zoo. If you have not turned in your child's slip please do so as soon as possible.
Sixth grade is working with the American Red Cross to help people in crisis. They are looking for toiletries, toys, gently used clothes and fleece, to make blankets.
