Teacher and Student of the Month at CHS
October Student of the Month
Bailey is involved in the Sparklers and is a positive influence on the team.
She is a leader in the classroom and in the hallways, and strives to maintain a positive mindset in at all times. Bailey has gone out of her way to work with her peers, her teachers and the administrators on being focused in maintaining a safe and secure school. She is continuously being active and involved throughout our school to establish an environment that our students and staff feel safe and appreciated. Thank you Bailey for all of your work!
October Teacher of the Month
Natalie took over the Outdoor Adventures classes a few years ago and has made that class even better than it already was. Students come out of that class feeling loved and educated daily. She has an incredible connection with all her students. Natalie started the Archery program last year and this year it now has 70 archers in the program. This program gives students a place in our school to call home. It gives them a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves and makes them want to come to school. Natalie has run into many road blocks along the way but staying poised and keeping the students at the forefront of each decision, she has made it happen. Natalie takes on more than she needs to and does so for the students. She should be recognized for this as Teacher of the Month.
Natalie does EVERYTHING and with a positive attitude. She wears so many hats and I admire her and her hard work every day.
She runs 2 programs along with the PE department like a true champion, and does so receiving little to no credit for how much work she puts in on a daily basis. She has unbelievable relationships with her students and players both past and present.
Coach Mullins is a rockstar of a teacher and coach. She is always well prepared for her students. She creates lessons that are engaging and even respects the social emotional aspect of teaching. Her athletes and students respect her and offer a safe space for them to be themselves.
