SEPTEMBER 2021 PARENT NEWSLETTER
MISSION CONTROL... We have LIFTOFF!
Dear Rayburn Parents,
We have completed a successful first week of school and are revving up and moving into our second week! A huge shout out to our AMAZING teachers and staff for being ready to receive our students. Thank you for your patience, support and perseverance through this transition from distance learning to face to face instruction.
Our staff is working diligently to provide as many live lessons as possible so that we can stay personally connected with our students. Continuing to build and maintain strong relationships with our students is essential. Please make sure to review your child's homework/communication folders daily as well as other communications from the teacher. Remember that daily attendance is very important. If your child is absent, please make sure to communicate with your child's teacher or call the school to let us know the reason for the absence.
I want to thank all Rayburn families for working through our first days of drop off and pick up. It was a little tough at the beginning but we have made some adjustments and are now running much more efficiently. Together we will make every effort to make learning as positive and engaging for your child. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns or feedback. Keep up the great work Rockets!!
Mrs. Clarissa Partida, Rayburn Elementary Principal
