Rayburn Elementary

Dear Rayburn Parents,

We have completed a successful first week of school and are revving up and moving into our second week! A huge shout out to our AMAZING teachers and staff for being ready to receive our students. Thank you for your patience, support and perseverance through this transition from distance learning to face to face instruction.

Our staff is working diligently to provide as many live lessons as possible so that we can stay personally connected with our students. Continuing to build and maintain strong relationships with our students is essential. Please make sure to review your child's homework/communication folders daily as well as other communications from the teacher. Remember that daily attendance is very important. If your child is absent, please make sure to communicate with your child's teacher or call the school to let us know the reason for the absence.

I want to thank all Rayburn families for working through our first days of drop off and pick up. It was a little tough at the beginning but we have made some adjustments and are now running much more efficiently. Together we will make every effort to make learning as positive and engaging for your child. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns or feedback. Keep up the great work Rockets!!

Mrs. Clarissa Partida, Rayburn Elementary Principal

Parents we will be kicking off our annual fundraiser on September 10th. Catalogs to order will be handed out to all students in an effort to get as many orders as possible. All information for the fundraiser will be sent home with your child on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 and all orders are due by September 24, 2021. Thank you in advance for all your support!!

A message from Mrs. Mascorro, School Counselor

In September we have our mandatory lesson on Sexual Harassment. This lesson is presented to the students in a child friendly way. It is communicated in the sense of taking care of their bodies

During these difficult times many students have experienced the loss of a loved one. It is important to have resources to help us cope in times of need. The Child Bereavement Center helps support families during these difficult times.
