Principal's Message
Happy New Year! We hope your holiday season was filled with some wonderful experiences and memories
January is a powerful learning month. We have very few interruptions and lots of curriculum to tackle in this month. We hope you'll continue to support the learning goals of your child.
The WinterKids Project is back! If you remember last year, we participated in Maine's WinterKids Project sponsored by the State and really enjoyed the month of physical activities, nutritional challenges, and celebrations to support the healthy kids initiative. We will continue to be part of this fun event this year starting January 7th-January January 25th. We look forward to some fun activities with our students, but also, remember the family component and get your family active too! We will have lots of postings to our Facebook Page. Here's a break down of the month's activities:
WEEK 1: Outdoor physical activities
WEEK 2: Nutrition
WEEK 3: Family Engagement
WEEK 4: Winter Carnival (January 30th, PTC will be helping with this. Look for the link next week to sign up and help out)

We are hoping our families will log at least 10 hours of support for our school this year.
Looking Back
Thank you to the custodial staff for cleaning the library from top to bottom. There's a lot of work to do in the building and the custodial staff really takes pride in keeping our building clean. We also like to give our students responsible for keeping the building picked up and presentable. We ask our students to keep their classrooms picked up and their personal cubby areas clean as well.
