First Day of School
Male volunteers from our community partners welcoming our students with High-Fives!
KIPP-Atlanta Drumline welcoming our students on the first day of school, filling the streets and hallway with music.
Local community partners from Keller Williams made a donation to the school. They also raffled two fully loaded backpacks for two lucky families.
I've only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can’t refuse it,
Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it,
But it’s up to me to use it.
I must suffer if I lose it,
Give an account if I abuse it,
Just a tiny little minute,
But eternity is in it.
-Dr. Benjamin E. Mays
Are You Ready For The Solar Eclipse?
Students must return a signed permission slip, and provide approved solar glasses to be permitted to go outside to view the solar eclipse event. If a student does not provide those two items they will watch the event via closed circuit. We will provide sun chips and moon pies for students to enjoy while viewing this exciting event.
