From the Office
Everything we do here at school is based on relationships. The main focus at the beginning of each school year is getting to know our students, finding out how they learn, what they like, dislike and many other things. The stronger the relationship, the more likely they will learn, grow, feel safe and let us know when something is wrong.
The relationship with our students is crucial to what we do, but so is the relationship we have with our parents and families. The more we are able to work together as a team toward a common goal, the better off we all are when it comes to our children's education.
Our School Community Council plays an important role when it comes to bridging the ties between school and family. At our meetings, we discuss what is happening, what has happened and what will be happening in the future at the school. We make decisions together and plan activities both academic and fun. We appreciate the dedication and support we receive from the members of our SCC.
We would strongly encourage any of you who are interested in what is happening here at the school, and would like to be involved, to come out to our next meeting on Monday, March 13 at 7:15 p.m. in the school library.
We usually only have one meeting a month and they are casual and fun. Attendance at every meeting is not necessary and children are welcome to hang out. Give us a call if you would like more information. There are always opportunities to volunteer for events even if you can't commit to attending the regular meetings
As usual, let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We would love to hear from you at any time.
