About the disease

Small pox is a highly contagious disease also known as Variola was brought to the Americas during the Columbia exchange from European explorers. Variola is a virus that has sense been eradicated but during the 14-17th century small pox killed many people in the Americas due to there lack of exposure to it witch caused them to have an immune system that was not as resilient to it as their old world brothers.
