The Chocolate Touch

Our One School, One Book project, made possible by your CSA!

We are looking forward to reading The Chocolate Touch as a school community! Due to Friday’s day off, our One School, One Book kickoff assembly has been moved to this afternoon, Monday, January 28th, and students will receive their books today. We ask that all families read chapter one tonight as originally scheduled on our reading calendar. If we experience any future days off due to inclement weather over the course of this program, our calendar will be revised. For each day off, we will bump the reading date to one school day later, but feel free to read ahead at any time.

Happy Reading!

Snack Treats Being Served on Feb. 12 and Feb. 14

Please see the information below about snacks being given out this month. If you do not want your child to have these treats, please send in a note to the homeroom teacher. If you would like, you may send in an alternate snack for your child on these snack treat days.

February 12

We will be serving Cocoa Krispies Treats and raisins, compliments of your CSA, for students to enjoy on the day we read the last chapter of our Chocolate Touch book. (Please note, this date may be bumped to a later date if we have any snow days during this program.)

February 14

We will be serving a white cupcake with buttercream frosting and grapes, compliments of your CSA, on Valentine’s Day.
