Timtim Boat Bridge
Science Inquiry- Group 1 AM
Materials
Glue, tape, cardboard boxes and cake support, wooden sticks, toothpicks, cup holders, sugar cubes, and pipe cleaners
Our Justifications
We chose those materials because they would help our bridge stay up and make it sturdy. The glue and tape helped to keep the other materials stuck together. The pipe cleaners worked to hold the sticks together.
Next Time We Would...
Add a ramp to the back end of the bridge so that the car would not just fall off. We would use more glue to hold the sugar cubes down better. We didn’t have enough this time, and some of them started to fall off. We might choose stronger materials that would help hold the bridge better and make it stronger.
