McCarthy Middle Construction: A Year Since Groundbreaking
What a difference a year makes!
Above is a photo taken last week, and below is a photo taken in August 2022 when City and school officials had just officially broken ground for the new $93.5 million McCarthy Middle School, off Buck Meadow Road. Since then, as you can see, a tremendous amount of progress has taken place in just one year. The building of the school remains on schedule, with anticipated occupancy in August 2023. 1:1 Chromebook Program for 2023-2024 School Year
The 1:1 Chromebook Program is being launched at our five secondary schools. We strongly encourage families of our students in middle school and high school to review the Chromebook Use and Care Policy Guide and complete the loan agreement as soon as possible.
The policy guide covers:
- the distribution process,
- the importance of caring for your Chromebook, including screen care and repair,
- and outlines the return policy of both the Chromebook and charger.
Please click links below for the loan agreement in three languages for each of the five participating schools:
The 1:1 Chromebook Program represents our commitment to providing the tools necessary to prepare students for success in an ever-evolving world. We are excited about the rollout of the program.
If you have questions about the program, please be sure to reach out to your school principal.
