What is "First Chapter Friday"?
"First Chapter Friday" is a movement in school libraries and ELA classrooms to introduce new and exciting titles to students by reading the first chapter out loud. Read-alouds have been shown to be very effective in sparking interest with kids of all ages - even high school students!
