Generation Texas Week: November 15-19
Generation Texas Week
November 15 – November 19
All over Texas, students are finding their voices, setting goals, and taking steps toward securing their own successful futures as part of creating a movement called Generation TX. Our students are Generation TX, and they are what’s next for Texas. With the support of their families and their communities, Texas students can become the most successful generation ever. Each day during the week of November 15 – November 19, we invite all students to participate in learning about what the future has in store.
Monday: Career Day “Dress for Success”
What do you want to be when you grow up? Dress for success in the career path of your choice.

Discuss with your child what they want to be when they grow up.
Tuesday: “Off to College We Go”
Wear your favorite college’s t-shirt, jersey or colors.
Staff members will share information about college and their experiences.

Ideas: boots, cowboy hats, Texas sports team shirts and jerseys, etc.
Staff members will talk about opportunities other than 4-year colleges.
Thursday: “Relax, Your Future Looks Amazing”
Wear Pajamas.
Talk with your child about Life after Elementary School
Friday: “Eagles Soar to Excellence”

Thank you for your support!
An Update from Nurse Corbit
Goodbye Summer & Hello Fall!
We are so thankful that Covid rates have dropped to a low level and most of our campus is really healthy! We still have mosquitoes on the playground, so remember to spray those arms and legs before school if your little one is getting bit! Also, a little known fact is that cough drops are considered a medicine here in CISD, so we ask that if your child needs them, please check them into the Clinic and sign a permission form. Vision and Hearing screening will begin for 3rd graders next week. If your child has a referral sent home, please contact the clinic with questions and recommendations.
Take Care! Nurse Corbit and Ms. Danielle.
