Happy Veterans Day!

Every year at this time we are reminded about the sacrifice veterans and their families have made so that we may enjoy our day to day lives. At Meadow Point we discuss what veterans have done for us and how we can and should honor them. Students write letters, make art, and sing songs. We look forward to having a Veterans Day assembly again, and in the meantime we wanted to share a short video expressing our thanks.

Scholastic Book Fair

Thank you for making the Book Fair a success! You helped raise funds to buy new books for our school library and helped add some new books to classroom libraries. It was a pleasure to have families, volunteers, and students visit the fair in the library in person! Thank you for your presence and support!

Help Needed

We have two needs at Meadow Point and maybe you or someone you know can help.

Special Education Paras

We need special education paras to help with our students, 7 hours a day. These positions are directly under the leadership of a certified staff member, and we will train you on what you need to know. Please call Tom or Alison directly at 720.886.8600 and we will help you apply.

Crossing Guard at Telluride and E. Grand

The crossing guard position is from 7:30 - 8:00 am and 2:40-3:00 pm (on Wednesdays its from 1:40 - 2:00). Each "shift" is paid for a full hour. We can use one person to do all of the shifts or one in the mornings and one in the evenings. Consistency and communication when you can't make a shift is important. Please call Tom or Alison directly at 720.886.8600 and we will help you apply.

Student Drop Off Lane

Hi all,

I have noticed that everyone may need a reminder about our drop-off lane procedures, so I've included them below. Please remember that all of these procedures have been developed to keep everyone safe, and the teachers reminding people of these procedures are there to help. Thank you,

Mr. McDowell

Parents using this area must drop their child off along the curb. This area is a single lane wide so that parents can stop along the curb and then pull forward when exiting. Students should only exit the car on the passenger side. Parents using this area should always drive as far forward in the lane as possible before stopping. When picking students up in this area, parents SHOULD NOT double park NOR leave the car unattended. Students should, again, only enter the car on the passenger side from the curb. There is to be NO PARKING in the drop off lane as it is an emergency vehicle access lane.
