Why is it important?

The dairy food group is important because it proviedes calcium, vitamins, and minerals. It can help keep bones strong and keep you healthy.

What is osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis is when your bones slowly deteriorate. This causes them to become weak and brittle which make breaks and fractures easier. There are many ways to prevent osteoporosis. You should exercise regularly, eat plenty of dairy foods and try to cut out smoking and alchohol.
