Communications
Mountainburg Public Schools utilizes many available avenues to communicate with employees, students, parents, and patrons of the district.
We encourage you to become familiar with the district website and download the district app to your phone.
State Required Information Page
Every public school district in the state of Arkansas is required to have a State Required Information page on their district website. Districts are to provide the page for the current school year plus the two previous years. A link to this page for the Mountainburg School District is found at the bottom of the website. A link to the page is available below.
The 2022-2023 page is being developed; however, the previous two years are available.
Downloading the District App
The graphic below shows what to search for and the icon that goes with the DragonsLink app. This is a quick and easy way to access information.
Email Etiquette
Often times, a student may need to email a principal or teacher. Below is a simple graphic with 5 steps for proper email etiquette for students.
They need to be reminded that they are not texting a friend and there is a proper way for which to prepare an email. This can be beneficial in college and the workplace.
Open for Business
The campus offices will be open Monday, July 18. The secretaries will be available to answer questions and enroll new students. The counselors will also be available.
If your student is new to the district, we encourage you to contact the appropriate campus office to get them enrolled as soon as possible.
Angie Dennis, District Special Education Supervisor, and Amber Butler, Admin. Assistant and Student Support, will be overseeing various student support services such as ELL, homelessness, therapy, etc.

Registering Your Student Athlete on DragonFly by August 1
Below are the instrutions to register your student on DragonFly.
To expedite the process and to ensure your student athlete gets to participate in their sport when practice begins, we encourage parents to have the registration complete on or before Monday, August 1.
Little League Football or Cheerleading
It is time to start thinking about getting your little Dragons involved in little league football or little league cheerleading. If your child is interested, please complete the Google form below.
Mountainburg Little League football and cheer are open to students in 2nd - 6th grades.
Scholarship for 2022-2023
The American College Foundation offers a scholarship to grades 9th-12th. The application opens on September 1 and closes on November 15.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets the 3rd Monday of each month, 5:45 PM, downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building. If a meeting has to be re-scheduled or if a special meeting is needed, a post will be made on Facebook and the LiveFeed on the district website.
