Verbum Dei Unveils New House System to Strengthen Community!
Each house has a patron saint, motto, and a house date when the house is celebrated. Each house also has two appointed leaders, or House Masters, that help coordinate house activities and are members of the Principal's Council (see chart below).
The goal of the House System is to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to interact across grade level, create a more intimate supportive environment for students, and increase feelings of identity and belonging within the school community. In doing so, the school community will benefit from positive peer pressure, increased school spirit, and healthy competition.
We look forward to watching this program grow!
