Make sure newly referred students and continuing students that did not get assessment after September 30th, 2019 (Due to Covid-19) have a piece of assessment data in their files dated before September 30th, 2020.
Parent letters should have gone home by the end of September as well.
What's in the Yellow File by the end of September
- Referral for NEW ELL students
- Overview of Service (Parent Letter can act as this piece)
- Assessment with ELL Standards (Matrices or Quick Scale) for NEW ELLs and Continuing ELLs without assessment from last year due to Covid-19
- NEW ELL AIPs
What's in the yellow file for October
- Continuing student AIPs
- Schedule of Service (This can be a paper based schedule or could be recorded digitally on ELLMS)

We can also set up a time to do a virtual ELLMS tutorial if you need.

There is a primary and intermediate example for a Developing/Expanding level of ESD student (based on ELL standards assessment).
