The Educator Hive (aka "The Hive") is a great place to inspire your fellow colleagues and educators with your own Smore newsletter creations!
There are many things you can do on the Educator Hive, including:
- Find inspiration and see what your community is doing
- "Like" shared newsletters
- Share your own beautiful newsletter templates
- Duplicate someone else's newsletter templates

Common Questions
Who has access to the Hive?
You will have access in your Smore account, if:
- You have a paid annual Educator Pro account
- When you signed up for your Free plan, you selected the "Education" industry.
How do I visit the Hive?
You'll see the Educator Hive button located at the top of your toolbar next to your name or by clicking HERE!
Is there a way to search for newsletters in the Hive?
Not currently. However, you can sort newsletters by subject, popularity, and most recent! Just click on any of the icons listed at the top the Hive and our sorter will show the relevant newsletters.
How do I duplicate a newsletter in the Hive?
- Select the newsletter you'd like to duplicate
- On the right side, click "Use as a Template"
- In the pop-up click, "Edit newsletter now" -- this will take you the duplicated newsletter's Editor and you can go ahead and edit away!
Why are there no images in my duplicated newsletter template?
Due to copyright laws and other factors, we do not duplicate images from the original newsletter in the duplicated templates.
How do I submit my newsletter to the Hive?

Please note: only annual Educator Pro users can submit newsletters to the Hive. You can sign up for this plan by visiting: www.smore.com/educators.
Why hasn't my newsletter been featured in the Hive?
Once you've submitted your newsletter, it can take up to 48 hours for one of our Smore team members to approve your newsletter. The team member is checking to make sure your newsletter follows the Educator Hive guidelines.
Pro tip: For a more guaranteed approval process, we recommend:
- Only submitting newsletters in English
- Making sure there are no images of children
Once you newsletter has been approved, it will be added to the Hive! :)
