Crystal Springs is working on plans tp have our own "Roadrunner Pantry" housed at our school. This pantry will consist of food and household items for families in need. We need your help. We are looking for donations from families so that we can purchase rolling carts to store all of the items. The rolling carts cost almost $200 each. If you are able to donate, please send a check to our Crystal Springs office and title it "donation for cart". We truly appreciate any help that you can provide:

Crystal Springs Talent Show

Device Return dates
All district-owned computers, tablets, and hotspots that have been assigned to students during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school year (Chromebooks, MacBooks, iPads, Hotspots) must be returned to school on or before the noon of June 21, 2021.
Families will return devices to the current school of enrollment, regardless of where that device came from. Do not send your devices to school with your children. All technology needs to be turned in by the parents.
District-owned Devices can be returned to the office on the following dates:
Monday, June 14th: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
Wednesday, June 16th: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Thursday, June 17th: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
Friday, June 18th: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
Families who have personal devices for students to use at home can return devices on the dates and times listed above.
Families planning to return devices during their student pick-up and drop-off time, please do not hand your device to the staff waiting in the parent drop-off area. If you plan to return a device during pick-up or drop-off, park your car, walk up to the office and return your device to our office staff.
School Devices can be returned via curbside on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 15th: 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.(also yearbook pick-up for remote students)

Monday, June 21, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
All families including Cohort A and Remote students must return district-owned devices on this date.

Community Serve- August 22nd
We’re excited to bring Community Serve Day back to our schools! Save the date- August 22nd from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Community Serve Day is an event where local churches, schools, non-profits and businesses come together for our community. For one day, we all set aside our regular Sunday activities to help our schools prepare for the coming year by helping set up classrooms, making improvements to the campuses and more.

Calling All Parents!!
We are excited to offer you the option of purchasing school supply kits for the 2021-2022 school year. We know that there is some uncertainty about what school will look like in the fall, but we have found in past years, that by using our competitive pricing for supplies, we were able to offer you a less expensive option for purchasing school supplies.
Each kit contains the supplies requested by your teachers in the next year’s grade. If you order now, school supplies will be ready for your child on the first day of school! Care-A-Van
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is launching a new mobile COVID-19 vaccination effort across Washington state. We will work closely with community partners and local health jurisdictions to increase access to vaccine for priority communities. Library books
All library books were due today- Friday, June 4th. Hybrid learners who still have books checked out should return them the next day that they are at school. Remote learners who still need to return books should contact Mrs. Weber, cweber@nsd.org and make arrangements to return the books.

Ready Start Tuition Program
Northshore Early Childhood is currently enrolling for the Ready Start Tuition Program. It is a blended multi-age, inclusive model, serving students, ages 3-5. We are currently have openings at Sorenson for the 2021/22 school year. Classrooms are taught and supported by a general education teacher, a special education teacher, and a para professional. Inclusive classrooms create a dynamic learning environment for all students. The average class size is 16 students, with class make-up of 8 students with IEP’s, 4 students who pay tuition, and 4 students who are income eligible. Classrooms utilize The Creative Curriculum & Teaching Strategies GOLD Assessment Tool. The staff is committed to fostering student learning and cultivating friendships while creating a sense of community for our students. Utilizing developmentally appropriate teaching strategies to support a whole child approach to learning, within an inclusive environment, fosters high levels of student learning and social and emotional growth for all students.
