Ms. Kersey Visits Room 113
This week, Ms. Kate visited our class to talk about a new poster we get to hang in our classroom to remind us about our right to feel safe. This poster reminds us that if we feel unsafe or uncomfortable, we must say stop, get away, and tell an adult.
Ms. Kate taught us about safe, unsafe, and unwanted touches. We looked at pictures to learn the difference between these kinds of touches. We learned that we should never keep secrets about touching problems, especially touching problems that involve our private body parts. We learned that these parts are the parts that are covered by our bathing suits and they are called breasts, vagina and bottom for girls, and penis and bottom for boys.
We discussed what we would do if someone was touching us in a way that we didn’t want or was unsafe. We talked about many safe people we could tell about a touching problem.
If you have questions about this lesson, please do feel free to contact Ms. Kate for more information. You can email her at katek@ isb.ac.th or you can call her at 02 963 5800
