Cognitive Coaching Level 1
This four-day learning experience will include practical application of the research through modeling and practice. Participants will build their communication and coaching skills to facilitate the effectiveness and efficacy of others.
The first two days of class are Sept. 28 and 29 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the PLAEA office in Storm Lake.
The second two days of class are Oct. 19 and 20 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the PLAEA office in Spencer.
Participants will learn how to…
… integrate skills of trust, rapport, pausing, paraphrasing and probing in conversations.
… internalize planning and reflecting maps to structure conversations.
… refine skills in asking mediational questions to stretch and support thinking.
Participants can earn two license renewal credits. This course has been approved for Evaluator Approval.
Please register as a participant only or for credit using this registration link. The cost of the Cognitive Coaching Learning guide is $45 per participant and the district will be billed for this cost.
