Happy 2016 to each of you!! We will have the opportunity to be with each other for little bit on January 4th before you break into your grade level/support/specials groupings.


Please take time to review all of the information so that you have an idea of what we will be focusing in the afternoon :).


Schedule for January 4 -


A.M. -

8:00 - 11:30 a.m. - Bellevue East


11:30-12:45 p.m. - Lunch/Plan


P.M.

12:45-2:15 p.m. - Whole group in the media center

2:15 - 3:15 p.m. - Mrs. Harmon & Ms. Phillips /Co-Teaching/Special Education Paraprofessional review for specific staff members (you know who you are)

3:15-4:00 p.m. - Grade Level Collaboration - PLEASE SUBMIT COLLABORATION FORM

We will be going over the new substitute system called AESOP.

Please save any emails you receive from AESOP.

Keep in mind -

1. You will input your own substitutes for personal and professional development days. There will be specific codes for professional development days.

2. You will be able to input substitutes who you prefer to have in your classroom (aka "Fab 5"). The system will make contact with those individuals first. If your preferences are not picking up the job, the system will reach out to the substitutes in our entire district.

If you need a substitute because you or your child(ten) are ill in the morning, the substitute system will reach to all substitutes since we need someone/anyone to fill the position!

We will be going over the Final Classification for Fairview Elementary that was sent to you last month.


In addition, I will share the Evidence-Based Analysis (EBA), and the reasons for each of the rankings that were chosen for each tenant.

Please take time to review the individual student/grade level goals that you set earlier this school year.

If your students' goals are MAP related, determine how/when you will be communicating each student's progress to his/her parents.

Consider -

Will the sharing of your students goals be shared before or during parent/teacher conferences in February?
