First of all, we would like to thank you for your tremendous support to our remote learning. A couple of classes had the outdoor lessons and the students had a great time. Special thanks to those families who opened their homes!

Our Parent Conference is on Saturday, October 3rd. On the same day we will also celebrate the Moon Festival and Teachers Day with many fun games. So, mark your calendar! Additionally, we are launching two new initiatives: CAoC Challenges and Student of the Month. See more details below.

To join the Parent conference, please use your child's regular class Zoom link.The teachers will assign learning activities for the children to do during the conference. Each class's schedule is as follows:

2nd Period: Celebration from 11:00 am to 11:40 am

To celebrate the Moon Festival and Teachers Day. We have prepared Pictionary, Charades, and Kahoot! for the students and families to play. The Zoom link for this celebration will be sent out on 10/3 morning through email. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Awards

Each participant who successfully meets the challenge will receive one CAoC Challenge Buck through email. At the end of the semester, each of the top three winners will receive a surprise gift. We will also select some winners to post their videos on our website and social media.

Starting September 2020, the school is going to select one or two students from all CSL classes to be the Student of the Month. The criteria is not based on the academic achievement but on learning attitudes, attendance, leadership in class, and characters.

Student of the Month will receive a certificate and a gift card from school. To honor the recipient of the Student of the Month, his or her picture will also be posted on the website and social media.
