This Week's News
Providing Feedback: Thank you all for sharing your great ideas yesterday. Here is your "Collab Ideas Link". Feel free to add more as you go.
Leadership Assembly: BLT is continuing to plan our leadership assembly. Let any of us know if you have questions. Here is a lInk to the agenda draft if you are interested. The practice dates and times are listed in the events section below. We'll be communicating soon who needs to attend the practices.
Consistency with Fun: This time of year is so fun, yet busy! Remember that there are many emotions tied to this time of year-both for children and adults. Our students need the consistency of routine and expectations that we always provide...kudos to you for maintaining this while you incorporate activities that celebrate the season! Pace yourselves and remember to take care of YOU so you can care for others :)
Grade Card Reminders for 2nd Quarter: Just a reminder that classroom teachers will be printing grade cards from PowerTeacher as they did first quarter. Letter grades do not need to be included (district wide the transition went very smoothly). Same as 1st quarter, if letter grades are requested from a parent, please provide them. If you need a refresher, you can pull up the screencasts that Kelly Saluri created in the fall.
Getting a Sub Through MLP: DAC Changes are as follows: When an absence is entered and approved in MLP the request will automatically roll into Aesop as approved and will not be held. Teachers and building administrative assistants will have immediate access to the absence (as soon as it is approved through MLP) and can assign a substitute (as soon as it is approved through MLP). Teachers will receive an approval notification by email. ***When MLP request are made, please let the teachers know that they can enter the substitute into Aesop when they receive the approval notification. If you want to prearrange a sub, you'll need to get into AESOP to do that as soon as you receive the MLP approval, otherwise it will be assigned to the first "taker". As we start the new process, you may want to let those you are prearranging with know in case we aren't able to assign them before the job is picked up by someone else. Please let me know if you have any questions.
It Mattered to That One!
Thank you to Keejet for all you have done for our students!
