Americans During World War Two
By Caitlin Johnson
World War Two
World War Two affected Americans in many different ways. It allowed jobs to prosper helping Americans end the Great Depression. Women's status grew, as they were no longer a stay at home mom tending around the house. They worked in factories and became nurses in the war. Although there were many good things that came about with the war, many bad things happened too. For example the Japanese Interment camps and the Holocaust. Once the war was over these camps were released. The victory of World War two was overall a great help to the United States.
