HYBRID LEARNING EDITION
Principal's Message
Welcome Back to Campus Westmoor Rams!
Together, we have experienced some unique and challenging circumstances! Distance Learning was not easy for any person. We made major changes and our staff and students adapted quickly. This update is for the families who have opted to return to campus. The scheduled dates are below:
*Twelfth Grade, Thursday, April 15th
*Ninth Grade, Monday, April 26th
*Eleventh Grade, Monday, May 3rd
*Tenth Grade, Monday, May 10th
Before arriving at school on the assigned above date, the above student groups, along with specialized populations, must attend an orientation along with signing up for curative testing which will be done randomly throughout the rest of the school year. For students physically planning to return, this is a requirement along with all of the standard safety protocols such as wearing a mask, washing hands, social distancing and more.
The returning student, and their guardian, must watch and complete the WHS Return to Campus Student Training Video and Form WHS Return to Campus Student/Parent Training Videos. Students will not be allowed on campus until this form is completed and received.
Prior to every school day, the student must complete the Daily Student Health Screening by logging in to your Parentvue account or Studentvue account. Proof of successfully completing this form will be shown to school staff before entering the campus. If the student is not feeling well, please stay home and contact the school’s attendance office, (650) 550-7469.
*Students will be allowed to enter the campus, Edgemont Avenue/flagpole side of the school or through the main parking lot steps entering the quad area beginning at 8:00 am and will then follow the arrows using the WHS Return to Campus Student Flow Map.
*Students will physically attend class using the room numbers found on their class schedule and follow the WHS Updated Bell Schedule, April 12, 2021, based on their assigned cohort:
Cohort A: Last names A-La.
Cohort B: Last names: Le-Z.
If the student finds a classroom unoccupied or locked, the student is to report to the WHS Library for further instruction. Zero period will not be held on campus and will only be offered through Distance Learning.
