Student Grades in the Home Access Center

Parents can view their children’s grades In the Home Access Center (HAC). If you have not yet created a HAC account, please use these directions to create one. If you have already created an account, but you are unsure of your login credentials, please click the "Forgot My Username or Password" link in the HAC. The final day of the first grading period is Friday, October 21. Due to the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA), kindergarten students will not have grades in the HAC for the first grading period.

Conference Information

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for October 4, 6, and 12. If you are unable to keep your conference time, please contact your teacher directly via their school email account to reschedule or call the school office at 330-830-8028 to leave a message for your teacher.

Sauder PTG Updates

Fall Book Fair - Let's Taco-bout Books! Oct 3-6
Next week begins our week-long event encouraging our students' love of reading. Please see this flyer for more information and the week's dress up days. If you would like to volunteer throughout the event, please click this link. Join us for Family Night next Thursday (Oct 6) from 5:00-8:00 pm in the gym. There will be items for the whole family to purchase, raffle prizes, and even a visit from the Sauder Polar Bear & Polar Pups. We hope to see you there!

Beat Hoover Community Shirt Sale

Library Bear Book Program

Would you like to commemorate your child’s year at Sauder Elementary and help add books to our school library? Let your child know you think that reading is GREAT by participating in our Bear Books program!

Here’s how:

  1. Your child may choose a book from our special “Bear Book” collection.

  2. A personalized bookplate with your child’s name will be placed in the book!

  3. Your child will be presented with their special book during their classroom library time, and they will be the first student to check it out of the library.

  4. Your donation will help place even more great books in our library.

  5. Please send your tax-deductible donation of $15 to the school with the completed form by Friday, September 30. Please make checks payable to “Sauder Elementary” and place the form and payment in an envelope marked “Bear Books.”

Backpack Food Program

The Backpack Food Program, a partnership with RiverTree Jackson, is a service we are pleased to offer families of Jackson Local Schools.The program’s goal is to provide a variety of easy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks for children over the weekend. There are no income requirements for this program.The bags will be delivered to your child’s school and be sent home with them on Fridays.To apply for the Backpack Food Program, please complete this quick application. School Breakfast and Lunch

The USDA is no longer offering free breakfast and lunch for public education students for the 22-23 school year. If you need monetary assistance with breakfast/lunch, please fill out the free and reduced lunch form. If you have questions about this form, please contact Marsha Escola, Food Service Supervisor, at 330-830-8031. All application information is confidential.

Families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will be charged $2.00 for breakfast and $3.00 for lunch. To find school menus for our school, please click this link. Please click any menu item to see nutritional information including possible allergens.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up

  • Student Drop Off and Pick Up--In the morning, you may drop off your child at Sauder door 2S beginning at 8:30 am. In order to access the Sauder drop off line, please turn into the JMMS driveway off of Mudbrook. Depending on the length of the Sauder drop off line, you may need to veer to the right and drive in front of JMMS door 5W and loop around the JMMS parking lot along the football stadium fence. This allows more cars safer access to the drop off line and prevents a backup on Mudbrook. Students who are dropped off are supervised in the gym until they are dismissed to their classrooms at 8:45. Students who are dropped off after 8:45 go straight to their classrooms. Our pm parent pickup car-line begins at Door 2S each day at approximately 3:30 pm. To access this car-line, parents should follow the same procedure as am drop off described above.

Bus Transportation

Parents and students can access bus routing information through the district's eLink page which can be found here. This is where you can find the most up-to-date routing information. Parents also are encouraged to download the "MyStop" app for monitoring their child(ren)'s bus route and to receive push notifications.
