All School Reward
Our GES students earned another all school reward by being KIND, a COMMUNITY and PERSEVERING. We celebrated with HOODIES, HATS and COCOA! What a great Friday we had!

Winter Sports - Remaining Winter Sports dates: 2/15, and 3/1
As a reminder, it is important to make sure your child is prepared each Wednesday for their winter sport. Please be sure to revisit the lists below and send your child to school with what they need.
Remaining Winter Sports dates: February 15, and March 1.

Kindergarten
Miss Lizzie's class explored the wilderness in class and learned about GROUNDHOGS for Groundhog Day!

First and Second Grade
Miss Laura's class read Amazing Sharks today and learned shark facts while enjoying really amazing illustrations. Students molded sharks to look like the illustrations!
Third & Fourth Grade
Mrs. Stern's class learned about the Harvest of the Month for February, BEETS! After studying facts about beets, students created their very own commercial to promote beets. Afterwards, students sliced beets and made beet chips in the oven! They were so delicious.

Fifth & Sixth Grade
Teyah, in grade 5, created a really awesome puzzle of a Phoenix. So creative!
Mrs. Lisai and her class experimented with boiling water today during the freezing cold weather. Mrs. Lisai quickly threw up a cup of boiling water to see what would happen. Students were able to test their predictions after the demonstration.

They each completed 120 push-ups on Thursday.
