Winter Wonderland

Dear FMS Families,

I do love snow, but not so much on school parking lots and roads :) Our maintenance department is hard at work trying to get our grounds ready for students and staff. Depending on conditions in the morning, please be ready for an alternate drop off to ensure safety. Thank you in advance for your patience. To help with the extra time it could take, we will open doors at 7:20 for our students.

Have a great Sunday afternoon!

What's Happening at FMS

As I shared in last Sunday's newsletter, our January intervention for WIN time will focus on building social and emotional skills based on the needs indicated in our screener information from the fall. This week the specific focus is dealing with anger appropriately and understanding other people's emotions. These are the foundational skills for building a school culture of anti-bullying. I look forward to giving our students tools to use to help in these situations. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
