Students Thank Nutrition Services Staff
Our nutrition services staff members, who have been working the meal distribution during COVID-19, have been receiving amazing support and appreciation from our community. This week, Mrs. Avalos from Janitell Jr High received letters students made and dropped off.
Student-Teacher Art Exchange
Amy Spangler, art teacher at Watson Junior High, traded art with a previous Watson student that is now at Widefield High School. His name is Christian Thew and he is currently in 9th grade. Ms. Spangler painted Christian's family dog, Rocko, and he created four poses in digital art of her 3-legged super puppy, Hops. The "trade" went down before quarantine and they agreed to have the artwork complete by May 1. Ms. Spangler and Christian are both very talented artists.
