From the Desk of Principal Fears

Greetings Fugett Families,

November is Native American Heritage Month. This month, we explore the heritage, culture, and experience of Indigenous peoples both historically and in American life today, while also sharing the various ways the National Park Service collaborates with Indigenous communities.

Please read below for important information about the upcoming weeks at Fugett Middle School.

Have an awesome day!

THE FUGETT LOWDOWN

Class Snowball Fight!

Mrs. Mizak’s students had a Snowball Fight with paper balls to practice writing compound sentences! Students first wrote an independent clause on one paper ball and after throwing them at each other, students had to turn that independent clause into a compound sentence! Then they got to throw their “snowballs” again to see if they wrote their compound sentences correctly!

Hello from the Fugett PTO!

The Cougar Cause: West Chester Food Cupboard

This month, the PTO will begin its donation collection to help support the West Chester Food Cupboard. Please consider purchasing items in need and having your student place the donation in the blue bin marked “Food Cupboard”, located at the cafeteria entrance. Items most needed are: diapers, feminine products, cereal, toothpaste, deodorant, canned meat and fish, and canned fruit. There is an abundance of canned vegetables right now, but those are always welcome as well. Any items that you can spare are always gratefully accepted. We will continue this much needed service throughout the year. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Questions? Concerns? Comments? Contact us at FugettPTO@gmail.com

Fugett PTO is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. All donations to the PTO are fully tax-deductible.
