Things we would like you to know:
WLC Sponsors encourage students.
- Wawasee Leadership Committee: guiding students through the process of organizing, planning, and implementing their own ideas for the school and community. Such student led ideas include a Heat Up the Night activity to raise food and money for local families, Pow Wow activity for students geared towards raising school spirit and unity, and several smaller activities and projects.
- Actively looking for student leaders in the classroom to recruit for the WLC and specifically targeting students who may not have the opportunity to lead or feel they have leadership skills.
- Collaborating with students in discussion at the Chick-Fil-A Leadercast conference where we had a chance to hear from well-known speakers such as Condoleezza Rice and Coach Mike Krzyzewski on leadership in the community, nation, and world.
