What is Responsibility

The state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.

Modern Connections

This book has modern connections to the world now. Just like in the world now there are many people that make mistakes and have to take responsibility for it. Sometimes wether it was actually there fault or not.

But the connection is Science. Its basically saying that some things should never be created or invented. that some things were meant to be never been created. Just like how Victor created the creature then not having anything to do with it. Causing it to feel unloved and to become angry and seek revenge. Later killing Victors friends and family and even victor himself. If Victor had never done this. This wouldn't of happened.

Another Connection is Experimentation. Which basically is that you should always know what you are experimenting on and the consequences of it and should be careful when doing so. When Victor created the monster he had an idea of what he was creating but had no idea of the consequences of it.

I had gazed on him while unfinished he was ugly then, but when those muscles and joints were rendered capable of motion, it became a thing such as even Dante could not have conceived. Chapter 5

Oh! No mortal could support the horror of that countenance. Chapter 5

"Do not ask me" cried I, putting my hands before my eyes for I thought I saw the dreaded spectre glide into the room. Chapter 5

Oh, save me! Save me! I imagined that the monster seized me. Chapter 5

Its gigantic stature, and the deformity of its aspect, more hideous than belongs humanity, instantly informed me that it was the wretch, the filthy demon to whom I had given life. Chapter 6

Nothing in human shape could have destroyed that fair child. He was a murderer! Chapter 6
