Wheeler Flash
May and June 2018
Message From the Principal
Dear Wheeler Families,
May and June ended up being much busier than usual! Packing up the entire school and moving it into the gym and some items into the cafeteria has been an enormous undertaking but very doable with a great team! Special thanks to all faculty, staff, and custodial crews across district who worked together to successfully accomplish this! I have included a couple of pictures below. One showing what the gym looks like right now! Two, a picture of what the new main entrance to Wheeler will look like hopefully by February of 2020!
Beginning Tuesday, June 26th, if you visit Wheeler School, please enter through the door near the music room and gym. You will actually see a note directing you to knock on the music room door and enter the building through that door. Mrs. Daigle, Mrs. Grouten, and I will be located in the music room as that will be our main office during the abatement this summer. Again, you may have to knock on the Window so we can see you and then we will physically get up and open the door for you to come in.
At some point before the start of school, all of the items in the gym need to be moved back to their respective places in Wheeler and faculty and staff will need to unpack. More information to come pending the completion of the abatement of hazardous material. Not to worry, we plan to start school on time and ready to go for the first day of school on Sept 4th!
Thank you to all Wheeler Families for your continued support and partnership in making Wheeler a great school community! Wishing all families a happy and healthy summer!
