Huge 100+ Family Yard Sale to Support our school: tomorrow (Saturday)!

I got a little preview of our school yard sale today and it is HUGE. Lots of deals to be had. It is from 8am-4pm tomorrow, Saturday, June 15th. There are activities for the kids while you shop, a bake sale and more! It is at the Assistance League @ 5620 DeLongpre Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90028.

2012-2013 CWC Silver Lake Yearbook is on sale now!

Mr. Shaun is creating our school yearbook. Orders are due by June 19th. Be sure to turn in your order form & check ASAP. The cost is $19.50 per book. They will be ready by the start of school in the Fall. If you'd like to pay by paypal (costs an extra $1 to cover paypal fees), click here: buy now. CWC Silver Lake Exhibition Night & Volunteer Recognition is on Tuesday, June 18th

It's our first school exhibition with art, music and other surprises. Plan to bring your child to school, fed, by 6pm so that he/she is ready for the performances.

6:00-6:30pm: Volunteer recognition--be sure to come if you have volunteered this year!
6:30pm: Get ready to bring your child to the stage area to perform/watch performances
6:55pm-Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Liz & Ms. Jamie's classes perform
7:25-8:00pm: Ms. Vanessa's class presentation on 2nd floor, Classroom 3 & Staff Resource Room

Please arrive by 6pm to ensure your child is present and ready for their performance time!

Step Up Ceremony, 9am on Wednesday, June 19th

Watch your child step up and receive a certificate. Arrive by 8:45am to get a seat. The ceremony takes place from 9am-10am.
It will be in the Grant Auditorium, so enter through the CWC front gate on Carlton Way and follow the crowd.
Our class is resuming their normal activities right after the ceremony.

Class Party, right after lunch, noon-1pm, Weds, June 19th. All are welcome!

Ms. V's class is having a party with games, snacks and fun. Families welcome! Join the fun.
Please also be sure to clear out your child's desk before leaving. Look in the desk, in the bins and also in lost & found. Please also grab your child's back up clothes from the beginning of the year.

Last day of school, ceremony and party, Wednesday, June 19th

There will be a stepping up ceremony at 9am. Our kids will step up on a step to signify moving up to the next class...and there's a balloon archway...ooooh...bring kleenex.

Our class party is Noon-1pm. Families welcome!

Under the leadership of Ms. Vanessa, our Room Parents are: Christina (Zosia), Laura (Roman), Susan (Colton) and Tamara (Jaffe).

Christina ( helps with: Organizing parent volunteers (i.e. drop off, tutors, clean up, lunches, and mystery reader) and organizing parents nights out and child play dates

Laura ( helps with: Organizing parties for the classroom, translation of the newsletter and co-coordinating field trips

Susan ( helps with: Newsletter, organizing scholastic book orders, and maintaining class wishlist

Tamara ( helps with: Representing our class at Friday Parent Meetings, emailing notes from those meetings to room parents, coordinating Find and Remind, co-coordinating field trips and is our treasurer
