Wellness Challenge
Week 4: Spiritual Wellness
Welcome to week four!
Week four is focused on Spiritual Wellness - the spiritual dimension of wellness is a personal matter involving values and beliefs that provide a purpose in our lives. It includes pondering the meaning of life for ourselves, keeping an open mind, and living each day in a way that is consistent with your values and beliefs.
Wondering if you are engaged in the process of spiritual wellness? Just ask yourself these questions:
- Do you make time for relaxation in your day?
- Do you make time for meditation and/or prayer?
- Do your values guide your decisions and actions?
- Are you accepting of the views of others?

FEED YOUR BRAIN
This week, you can feed your brain by learning more about Seattle University Dance Marathon and Seattle Children's Hospital. Read on, click on the links, and if you feel so moved, you can donate too!
It is Seattle University Dance Marathon's (SUDM) ninth year, and on February 20th we will dance for 16 hours in solidarity with the patients at Seattle Children's who continually fight for their health and their lives, every day. All of our proceeds benefit Seattle Children's Hospital Uncompensated Care fund, and the Strong Against Cancer Fundraising initiative. Seattle Children's Hospital is on the brink of curing pediatric cancer with their immunotherapy trials, and together we can make an impact on the patients’ health, and futures. Together we can find a cure! But, we need YOUR help.
On February 3rd SUDM is committing to raise $9k in one day! We are asking all of our dancers to raise $29 that day. Any support is welcome. Wellness Challenge participants, you can help us help Seattle Children's find the cure in the following ways:
1. Sign up for Dance Marathon and dance with us
2. Donate to our fundraising efforts
Both at: seattleudancemarathon.org
