About Shakti Studio
Shakti Studio is a community-oriented studio nestled in residential Arnold, MD. We offer a variety of yoga classes and other fitness practices for the mind and body. We take pride in providing a welcoming, and positive environment for students at every stage of life.
Tree Pose
Vrksasana (vrik-shah-sah-nah) - a basic standing balance pose that focuses the mind, creates body awareness, and builds stability and balance.
Warrior 2
Virabhadrasana 2 (vee-rah-bah-drah-san-nah) - an energizing and strengthening pose that gently opens the heart.
Downward Facing Dog
Adho Muka Svanasana (odd-oh-moo-kuh-svan-ah-sah-nah) - a versatile pose that works many areas of the body simultaneously
Your instructor ... That's me!
Hi, I'm Mary, and I'll be your yoga teacher for this class. I want you to know that yoga is for absolutely everybody, and I'm looking forward to sharing this practice with you. In my class, you can expect to be challenged, but also to laugh. It's my hope that you leave class feeling a little more peaceful and a little more in love with life every time. See you on the mat!
