Help us get a document camera!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to those of you who have made a donation to this project! A document camera will make a huge impact in our classroom in every subject! I'll be better able to model writing in our writer's notebooks, show the students text or pictures from library books, work math word problems with the lights on (I turn them off when we're using the overhead...), do science demonstrations where all of the students can see, and display things like our class globe or map for social studies with the document camera!
I'm writing to ask for any donations possible for our students - no matter the size, it will help the kids. If you know anyone who is passionate about education, please pass this along. Your tax-deductible donation will have a direct impact on our students (and many more in the future), and you'll hear back from our class about your impact on our learning!
To learn more or donate:

Please feel free to send me any questions you may have, and know that my students and I greatly appreciate your support.
Upcoming Events
-There are no CUAs this week! Woo-hoo!
-In Social Studies we have started talking about the election process and the upcoming presidential election. We've read a few books (Duck for President & Grace for President) and we'll also watch some short videos about it (So, You Want to be President?). Bowen students are going to be able to "vote" for president the week of the election to compare our results with the real election results.
