Job Responsibilities - The job of a Food Service Manager is for directing the food part for business activities for an organization or department.

Skill and Education Requirements- For upscale restaurants a degree in Hospitality and Managing is required while for smaller lower scale restaurants most will require a High School diploma and some sort of prior experience in the food industry and both will require good leadership skills and coordination skills.

Salary- Average Salary for a Food service manager is around $40,000-$45,000 per year while some veteran workers with lots of experience may make up to $60,000-$70,000
