Temperance
Mainly women started the temperance movement by stating that their husbands would come home drunk and beat them so to solve the problem they decided they would try and ban alcohol.
"The best protection any woman can have... is courage." - Elizabeth Stanton
Why Should I Join?
Who wants to see beautiful women get beat by their own husbands who are suppose to love them and take care of them? Or if you're one of the men guilty of this why not get rid of the problem, which is the alcohol, so you want get drunk and perform those actions when you're not in the right mind.
