Visit from Tina Daniels on Positive School Climate and Relationships
Tina Daniels is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Coordinator of the Child Studies Program at Carleton University. She has studied children’s social relationships in school settings for more than 30 years. Her current research interests focus on bullying and social aggression within the context of close friendship groups. She is an executive member of the Promoting Relationships and Eliminating Violence Network (PREVNet); a national network of researchers and NGO’s committed to eliminating bullying in Canada. She is also co-chair of the Social Aggression Working Group. Each year she gives many talks and workshops to parents, teachers and children.
