Goodbye 2019
When a community suffers a loss such as this, there are resources out there that can be helpful. We have partnered with The Family Center, Union City Youth and Family Services and our district and county social worker team to set up layers of counseling if need be. I also linked an article below that I think you will find helpful. The article can provide some tips on how to talk to your student about the events that took place.
In this time of grieving, we can look to each other for support. Please don't hesitate to reach out, although the student was not with us very long, we are all impacted when a student is lost.
Through this holiday season, remember that life is short and to celebrate the little and big joys throughout each day. I am incredibly thankful for life I have been given and the people I am able to be surrounded by on daily basis. Thank you for being a part of our IVC community.
