Mondays are Regular Dismissal Days

Please be reminded that Mondays are no longer early dismissal days. School will dismiss at the regular dismissal time, 3:00/3:15 each Monday. There is one early dismissal day scheduled each month for faculty meetings. This day is usually on a Friday. Please refer to the school calendar for exact dates. We will send reminders in advance.

CCCS Choir

All third thru eighth grade students are invited to participate in the school choir, which will assist with the music ministry for all school Masses. Practices will be held after school on a Monday once a month. Permission forms, which lists the practice dates, are being sent home in this week's Tuesday Folder.

Parent/Student Handbook

The Parent/Student Handbook may viewed via RenWeb under "Resource Documents". Please take a few minutes to review with your child. Handbook Acknowledgment Forms are being sent home in tomorrow's Tuesday Folder. Please sign and return to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday, August 30th.

Extracurricular Activities

CCCS strives to form the whole child; therefore, extracurricular activities are extremely important. In case you did not get a chance to visit with the club sponsors during our "Back to School" session last week, information regarding the following activities will be sent in tomorrow's Tuesday Folder: chess, choir, Yoga for Kids, Tippi Toes, and piano lessons.

Information regarding our Enrichment Center services will also be sent home in tomorrow's Tuesday Folder.

Did you pick up your CCCS car window decal? If not, no worries, we are holding one for you in the office. Please stop by to get it!

Educational Enrichment Center

The CCCS Educational Enrichment Center addresses the needs of students with identified learning differences, motivates students who are working on grade level and challenges those who seek a challenge.

Additional information will be sent home in tomorrow's Tuesday Folder.

Hoodies and Other Outerwear

We realize our students enjoy wearing their CCCS hoodies; however, during these warm months, we ask that hoodies and sweatshirts not be worn to school. Uniform jackets and sweaters may be worn in the classroom.

Notification will be given as to when hoodies and sweatshirts may be worn. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Adult Faith Formation/Bible Study

Are you looking for ways to foster your relationship with God? If so, consider joining a group of parents and parishioners on Tuesday mornings to discuss God's word. A new season will begin with Mass and breakfast on Tuesday, September 10th at 8:00 a.m. in the Jones Room and will focus on Bishop Barron’s Pivotal Players series detailing the contributions of Flannery O’Connor and Bishop Fulton Sheen. All are welcome!

Have you registered with Sami's Cafeteria service? Sami's will continue to provide hot, delicious meals for our students this year.
